The 2XU Compression Run is an annual one-day event that takes runners through many of Singapore’s iconic landmarks.
Exciting cash prizes await first, second, and third-place winners in each race category.

Interested participants should register online. The minimum age for the 21.1km run is 17 years old on race day, 14 years old for the 10km, and 12 years old for the 5km. The cut-off time for the 21.1km race is 4 hours, 2.5 hours for the 10km, and 1.5 hours for the 5km. All participants below 18 years of age are recommended to seek consent from a parent or guardian beforehand.
All runners are entitled to a 2XU singlet, a 2XU Finisher T-shirt for the 21.1km and a finisher medal. Additionally, participants are required to collect Race Entry Packs within the dates specified by the organisers. You will need to bring a valid photo ID with you to do so.
Should participants encounter injuries during the event, they should approach the first aiders deployed on the site. However, if they require immediate medical attention, they should let the route marshals know.
The races will occur at the F1 Pit Building on Republic Boulevard in Singapore. 2XU Compression Run is open to both foreigners and Singapore citizens.
Getting to the Starting Line
The 2XU Compression Run 2025 will flag off in the heart of the city – the F1 Track beside the Pit Building. It is within walking distance from the Singapore Flyer, Marina Square, Suntec City, and Millenia Walk.

Tickets will be available for purchase starting March 1st, 2025.
By Car
The coach park of the F1 Pit Building will be closed on the event day. Runners driving to the race site are encouraged to park at the following car parks:
- Marina Square: 1008 lots available, 950m from the event
- Suntec City: 3200 lots available, 1.1km from the event
- Millenia Walk: 1745 lots available, 650m from the event
- Singapore Flyer: 284 lots available, 260m from the event
By MRT
Runners should alight at Promenade Station (Circle Line, CC5) and walk 5 minutes to Exit A to Singapore Flyer. Look for direction signage leading to the event site.
By Cab
Participants are strongly encouraged to alight at Singapore Flyer, along Raffles Avenue.
Do note that Republic Boulevard towards Raffles Avenue will be fully closed from 2:30am to 9:30am.

What is the minimum age to participate in the 2XU Compression Run 2025?
- 21.1KM: You must be aged 16 years and above as of race day.
- 10KM: You must be aged 14 years and above as of race day.
- 5KM: You must be aged 12 years and above as of race day.
All participants under the age of 18 must seek parental/ guardian consent to participate in the race. Relevant indemnity and declaration fields must be filled out at the point of registration; failing which, the Organiser reserves the right to refuse entry to the participant.
What is the cut-off time for the race?
The cut-off time for each category is:
- 21.1KM: 4 Hours
- 10KM: 2 Hours 30 Minutes
- 5KM: 1 Hour 30 Minutes
Participants who do not cross various distance checkpoints at certain timings may be directed to run on footpaths or take an alternative route due to restrictions on road closure timings.
Is there a baggage deposit at the start point?
Yes. There is a baggage deposit area at the start point. While maximum care and security will be enforced, the Organiser will not be responsible for any loss or damage to items or for any delay in retrieving the bags. You are advised to travel light.
What time do I report for the race?
You are encouraged to be at the starting point 30 minutes before flag-off time. Runners who are late or start in another category will be disqualified. Runners who do not start before their respective category’s pen close times will be disqualified and may not be allowed to run for safety reasons. No timing will be provided.
Will there be an official photographer?
Yes. Photography and/or videography will be taken during the event for news and publicity purposes by the official photographer and/or videographer. They may be used for print and on online/electronic platforms of Pink Apple Pte Ltd. Pink Apple Pte Ltd owns all rights to the photographs and video recordings. If you do not wish to have any photographs or video recordings taken of you, please inform the Organiser at the event site.
How do I know which wave I’m assigned to?
To ease congestion on the route, flag off for certain categories will be broken down into multiple waves. For 21.1KM participants, you can select your ideal Pen during the registration process. The pen allocation will be based on a first-come, first-served basis.
Wave allocation will be on a first-come, first-served basis for 10KM and 5KM participants. Runners competing for top prizes must start in the First Wave of their respective categories and assemble at the front of the start pen.
