The array of rare cameras will surprise you: there are spy cameras, walking stick cameras, 3D cameras, pistol cameras, and many other novelty cameras, to name a few. Some of the cameras are even available for visitors to hold and play with.
In today’s age of digital photography, the museum provides a peek into old-school and traditional photography including antique, vintage cameras. In addition to a one-of-a-kind collection of cameras, the museum also features a collection of photographs that depict interesting information about photography; including a replica of the first photograph ever taken in the world. Other photography highlights include those of the moon landing and attempts at war photography.
The Vintage Camera Museum is located at No. 8C and 8D Jalan Kledek in Singapore. Opening hours are from 10:30am to 7:30pm daily. Admission is $20 for adults, and $15 for kids and senior citizens.
