UOB Plaza, Tower 1 & 2 Restaurant, Open Times & Address, Singapore
UOB Plaza One was completed in 1992, and boasts 67 floors which offer a panoramic view of the city. Some of the key features in this tower include key financial corporations, an underground mosque known as the Masjid Moulana Mohd Ali Mosque as well as a restaurant on the 60th floor. There is no better way to enjoy Eastern cuisine at Si Chuan Dou Hua than by basking in the spectacular views that the restaurant affords.
UOB Plaza Two on the other hand, has 38 floors and is the shorter and older of the two. It was formerly known as the Bonham Building, before it was demolished to give way to the current tower. Its location at the heart of the business district makes it an interesting place to visit.
The six-storey podium features a large airy atrium that links the popular Raffles Place to the majestic Singapore River without necessarily gaining access into the building. The hall’s ceiling-to-floor glass walls showcase scenic views of the river, and at night, show the stunning skyline of this financial district. Look out for the two sculptures located on the ground floor, both of which depict the city’s artsy side.
UOB Plaza is strategically located within Singapore’s business hub, making it easy to access from the various MRT stations nearby. There are several bus stops too available for public transport, and the expressways ease the trip for private car users.
