The gardens have grown to become rich in biodiversity, where various dragonfly and plant species thrive without the interference of modernisation. The gardens feature pathways that cross through the park; a favourite among joggers and families. Even if you don’t jog, the path is great for a scenic stroll.
The park is also equipped with gazebos beneath willow trees, where visitors can take in the views of the cascading pools, the fountain pool, the trellises, and the observation tower.
Other amenities found here include a playground, restrooms, a landscaped pond, and a spacious pavilion ideal for picnics. The area is wheelchair accessible, too.
The park is also home to the Oasis Taiwan Porridge restaurant, which offers some of the best Chinese and Taiwanese cuisine in Singapore. They serve an exciting collection of food dishes that are perfect for casual dining and larger group gatherings. It presents a wide selection of meat, seafood, vegetables, clay pot dishes and much more – so there is definitely something for everyone on the menu!
Toa Payoh Town Park can be found on the junction of Toa Payoh Lor 2 and Toa Payoh Lor 6.
