The Bible House is the headquarters of the Bible Society of Singapore; an interconfessional mission group whose objective is to make the Bible accessible and available to the public through their education and distribution programs.
The establishment, designed by Laud Architects, was created to replace the old building.

During the time of the Old Testament, the people followed their Catholic faith as the law, which was very structured in nature. Hence the use of a solid masonry wall with tear-shaped openings.
On the other hand, the New Testament is epitomised by the glass curtain located on the building’s north-eastern facade, which symbolises a relationship with Jesus Christ. The death of Christ, the most defining moment in Christianity, is represented through the use of a blood-red wall which splices throughout the building.
The Bible Society of Singapore has been serving the local Christian community for close to two hundred years now. They have been instrumental in assisting both churches and individuals to become better ministers to their communities.
The Bible House’s resources include a Bible Resource Centre, the Institute for Biblical Discipleship, the Sower Publishing Centre, Alliance for Indian Ministries, and the Ethos Institute for Public Christianity. They also house a Sports Ministry, Word Intake for Spiritual Edification (WISE), as well as services for children and families.
The Bible Resource Centre, in particular, is known for its incredible collection of foreign language bibles.
The Bible House is located at 7 Armenian Street in Singapore. Opening hours on Mondays are 11am to 7pm, Tuesdays from 10am to 8pm, Wednesdays through Fridays from 10am to 7pm, and Saturdays and Sundays from 10am to 2pm.
