Are you looking for a place where you can interact with nature while having a bird’s eye view of the beautiful city skyline? If so, then Mount Faber is for you.
Mount Faber stands at 105 metres and gives you the perfect view of the surrounding area. Apart from the scenery, you will also find many dining options and a state of the art cable car network.
Mount Faber Peak Singapore, Restaurant Dining & Cable Car
The walk up to Mt. Faber is not strenuous and there are a number of rest stops along the way. Simply take the cable car and alight at the Mt. Faber station, the walk is only 650 metres to the lookout and is on an easy to moderate incline. When you get to the top, there are a number of places to enjoy a stroll as you enjoy the views from the peak.
If you are looking to take something with you from Mount Faber, there are souvenir shops in the area. There are also restaurants around the mountain where you can get refreshments while enjoying local delicacies. There is also a Faber Peak Buffet Lunch offered at Spuds & Aprons which includes some of Singapore’s favourite dishes including Hainanese Chicken Rice and Chicken Curry. The lunch costs $29 for adults and $24 for children.
Discounted tickets are available when you purchase passes to both cable cars, so make a day of it and explore the whole area with a multi-trip pass.
What does a one way cable car ticket cost (adult) to get from Sentosa Island to the main land? (We are going to Sentosa island as part of a tour group, but must get our own transport back to the main land)
Hi Linda,
An adult ticket to go on the Mount Faber line of the cable car is usually $33, which includes entry into Sentosa (which you don’t need), and also allows you to get up to Mount Faber.
You can buy these online for cheaper though from the website “Voyaging”, which sells them at a cheaper $24.50. You can use the following link:

Alternatively, you can use the Sentosa Express monorail, which really isn’t that far away from the cable car and only costs $4.
Thanks
Michael
