There are different exhibition galleries, all of which are tailored to suit different learning objectives. The Imagine Zone lets children channel their creativity and improve on their communication skills as it features an array of role-play activities. There are also a range of different themes such as the “Built Environment” which showcases activities at a construction site, the “Supermarket” where the little ones can enjoy shopping as well as a “Dino Pit”, an amazing replication of an excavation site.
For a sensory experience, the Experience Zone provides a detailed setup that allows kids to immerse themselves in the natural world. The Typhoon Simulator gives kids the experience of what a typhoon really feels like, in a completely safe environment.
The Critters section in the Experience Zone is for kids who do not mind making friends with creepy crawlies, certainly a hands-on way to learn about insects. The Nature Zone is where kids and their parents will learn more about different plants, animals and weather patterns across the world.
The Discover Zone offers a perfect platform for kids to explore the wonders of this beautiful world. Topics covered include the human body, flight and space and the four seasons. The Dream Zone on the other hand, is the stuff that fact and fiction is made up of. This zone features a two-storey structure with an assortment of mind-blowing exhibits.
Kids over 4 years of age can come into KidSTOP unaccompanied by an adult. So bring your kids along to KidSTOP for a fun day out during your trip to Singapore. The closest MRT is the Jurong East Station on the east/west line and on the north/south line.
