Jurong East Swimming Complex is one of the best water parks around in Singapore. It has a variety of swimming pools and water play areas where people of any age can have fun under the sun.
Jurong East is also well known for its popular wave pool as well as a range of waterslides, lap pool, floating lagoon, toddler pool and fun water play area for kids.
Jurong East Swimming Complex, Price, Opening Hours & Attire
For those wanting a more relaxing time at the pool, take a slow ride down the lazy river. You can enter the river with or without a float and the current will take you around in a circuit. If you want some wave action, head over to the large wave pool where you can enjoy some amazing waves in a save environment. There is also a large competition pool for lap swimmers.
For those taking kids to the pool for a day of play, sit back and watch them play in the Kiddy Fun Station. You will find climbing equipment, a mushroom that drops water as well as a shallow toddler wading pool.
Bring along a picnic, as there are tables with shade located near the swimming pools with BBQ’s available for hire at $150 for 4 hours (also includes 1 tentage area, free admission for 20 people and 4 ring floats).
You can use all these facilities every Tuesday through to Sunday. The pool is closed on Mondays. Appropriate swimming attire is a must. Only items made of lycra, spandex or nylon are allowed for swimming attire. The following items are not permitted to be worn in place of bathers: street wear, attire with hard / metal objects, translucent material, non-colourfast material, shorts without inner liner, undergarments, g-string, diapers, any clothing made of cotton. In addition, swimmers are not permitted to bring their own floats, nor snorkelling equipment including fins or flippers.
Lockers are also available for daily hire. Small lockers cost $0.20 cents per use and large lockers cost $0.40 cents per use. There are large change rooms with showers and toilets on site. You will find vending machines selling drinks and there is a KFC and a pizza shop available if you are looking for something to eat.
So when the Singaporean weather gets too hot and you need a place to cool down, come on down to the Jurong East Swimming Complex for a day of fun!
Is my kid allow to bring kid float?
Hi,
I can’t seem to find the photos of the signage i took when i visited the pool, but i do recall that it was noted that swimmers are not permitted to bring their own floats, nor snorkelling equipment including fins or flippers. Be that they are pretty strict when it comes to approved swimwear, i’m guessing they want the same control over other things brought into the pool.
Having said that, they did have them for hire to use in the lazy river and other pool areas.
Thanks
Michael
Hi, is there a shop there that sells swimming diapers, or do I need to bring my own?
Hi there,
I have tried to find information of the shop and i can’t really find any information of the shop or the items they sell.
So just to make sure, i would suggest bringing your own – they would likely be cheaper anyway.
Thanks
Michael
Can we buy the float with ACTIVE SG?
Hi Min,
I have tried going through the booking process and it doesn’t appear you can book the float with ActiveSG – you can only book actual programs like water aerobics.
You can see the list of programs here at this link.
If you are going to to use the pool a lot, it may be worth checking out the MyActiveSWIM scheme, which provides ActiveSG members unlimited pool access to all ActiveSG swimming complexes islandwide (EXCLUDING Senja-Cashew Community Centre Pool and MOE Evans Pool).
You can view more information on this at this link.
Thanks
Michael
Hi will dry fit and fbt be allowed?
Hi Kiro,
This question gets asked over and over. You need to make your best judgement about whether your clothing fits within the parameters of what is permitted.
I will repeat the information in our post: The following items are not permitted: street wear, attire with hard / metal objects, translucent material, non-colourfast material, shorts without inner liner, undergarments, g-string, diapers. Dry-Fit t-shirt is fine, check your bottoms against the excluded materials listed here.
As to whether the clothing your propose is excluded from this list, this is something you must determine.
Regards,
Jess

My shorts are Nylon wirh inner lining but is it ok i i wear them on my head?
Hi Coco,
Pants are best worn on the body, as we would hate to frighten other pool-goers or young children. Perhaps you could put your shorts on your body and a hat on your head, the Singapore sun can get very hot during the day.
Have a wonderful time at the Jurong East Swimming Complex!
Best regards,
Jess
Hi,
Recently when I visit the pool. There’s some membership scanning to enter and exit the pool. What membership is this and what’s the benefit of the membership?

Hi,just to ask if I can pay cash to go in the pool and where do I pay and is the float required for the slide?
Hi Alyssa,
Yes, you can use cash to purchase entry. There are customer services operators at the entrance who can assist you.
Both the blue and red waterslides require a float to ride the slide and they cost $5.00 ($3.00 deposit + $2.00 rental for 2 hours).

I mean during the rides, lazy river and wave pool.
Of course, I understand that loss of camera will not be held responsible by the swimming complex.
Thanks.

Hi Jiahui,
I have located a dress code which talks about what is not permitted.

– Translucent material
– Non Colourfast material
– Shorts without inner liner

– G-String
– Diapers
As long as your clothing does not fall into one of these categories, you will be fine.
