ION Sky is a spectacular observation deck tucked away along Orchard Road in Singapore.
Located on the 56th floor of ION Orchard shopping mall, this deck attracts visitors to enjoy the panoramic 360 degrees view of Singapore’s city skyline.
ION Sky, Entry Fee & Opening Hours, Bar & Restaurant, Singapore
You will even get to see what Orchard Road used to look like before becoming the shipping mecca that it is today. It is fascinating to learn that the road actually got its name from the many fruit orchards and nutmeg plantations that lined the road.
Just below ION Sky lies Salt Grill & Sky Bar, the perfect restaurant to indulge the senses and enjoy the tastiest culinary treats available. You can expect an exciting gastronomic experience as the brains behind this restaurant is renowned celebrity chef Luke Mangan. The bonus for dining at this restaurant is that you are treated to spectacular views just one floor below the observatory deck.
ION Sky is open daily between 3pm and 6pm with the last admission at 5.30pm. To get to ION Sky, make your way to ION Art Gallery that is located on the 4th floor of ION Mall. From here, take a lift to the observatory deck.
Admission fees is free or not? Because last SAT,one of the staff said we need to pay $20 for admission when we’re at there.
Hi there,
You get one ticket with every $20 spent at the mall which is valid for 30 days. So if you spend $100 at the mall, you will get 5 tickets.
Best regards,
Jess
Does it mean that I have to redeem ION sky ticket within 30 days of purchase at the mall or I have to redeem on the day of purchase and the ticket is valid for 30 days。Please clarify.
Hi,
Reading through the terms and conditions at https://www.ionorchard.com/ion-sky, my take is that you have 30 days once the admission ticket has been granted – not from when you made the purchase.
Looking through the steps you can either redeem your receipts instant at the information desk, to you can do it via the app, but that may take 3-5 days to process.
The part I can’t find information on though is how long you have to convert the receipts into tickets.
I personally bought items once only to find out that there were no more slots for the day. So my advice is that if you buy something, look to go back at least a few days later.
Thanks
Michael
