East Coast Park

East Coast Park is located in the south-eastern part of Singapore and is the largest park in the country.

This 185-hectare park was built on reclaimed land and has its very own man-made beach which stretches along the 15km scenic coastline.

The park is equipped with many amenities including BBQ’s and toilet blocks which makes having an outdoor picnic a breeze. If you don’t feel like cooking, walk over to one of the nearby restaurants or cafes for a bite to eat and just enjoy the scenery of the park.

There is a designated cycling and skating track for those looking to ride or skate through the park, so you won’t find yourself dodging pedestrians. Bring your own bicycle or, if only in Singapore on a holiday, you can rent one from the bicycle kiosks found within the park (approx. $6 per hour).

Camping is permitted in Areas D and G at East Coast Park and campers need to apply for a camping permit. Fishing is also permitted at the jetty.
