Art Retreat is the first private museum in Singapore showcasing an extensive collection of modern European and Asian artworks created by renowned artists.
The museum was founded in 2003 by Indonesian collector, Kwee Swie Teng, who wanted to share his incredible collection to the rest of the world while promoting visual arts as an important cultural resource and making it accessible to the public and collectors.
