The Army Museum of Singapore is a great place to learn about the Singaporean Army.
Established back in 2007, the interactive museum was built with the intentions of honouring the heritage of the army: the men and women in service as well as the veterans and their families, while providing educational information on the experience of soldiers.

A realistic 4D movie theatre is also found within the museum; it’s a unique way to learn about how soldiers lived and what they went through during combat missions. The entire story is enhanced using special effects.
The museum also has numerous attractions for children, such as the outdoor playground, the obstacle course inspired by the army’s Standard Obstacle Course, and a mock-up of the old barracks which kids love to take photos with. Another highlight for kids is the simulation air rifle range, which provides visitors with the opportunity to experience what it’s like to shoot an air rifle.
Other things on display include vehicles and equipment. To make the most out of your visit, take a guided tour, which is free for Singaporean citizens and residents.
There is also ample car parking (free of charge) at Singapore Discovery Centre car park, or you can take the MRT on the East/West Line and alight at Joo Koon station. The Army Museum of Singapore is located at 520 Upper Jurong Road in Jurong West. Opening hours are Tuesday to Sunday, 10am to 6pm.
