Start your day off with a visit to the Singapore Zoo. It is set within a 40-hectare rainforest and houses over 2500 animals including tigers, giraffes, sea-lions, orangutans, elephants, lions, pandas, kangaroos and koalas. The Singapore Zoo is designed to give visitors the best interactive experience with animals; therefore many enclosures aim to represent the animal’s natural environment. Many enclosures are walk-through, and others have feeding platforms where visitors can get up close to their favourite animal.
Located at Jurong Hill, the Jurong Bird Park is an attraction that you shouldn’t miss when visiting the beautiful country of Singapore. Covering a vast area of more than 200,000 square meters and being home to almost 5,000 animals and 380 different species, it is considered as one of the biggest and most significant wildlife parks in Asia.
A great way to cool down with your kids in the hot Singaporean weather is to take a trip to Wild Wild Wet water park. One of the most popular rides at the Wild Wild Wet water park is “Water Works” which is a fast water slide that will take you through fast curves and exciting turns. Kids will love the “Professor’s Playground” where they can play for hours as they paddle in a shallow pool and climb on ladders, slip down water slides, run through fountains and spray each other with water cannons. Kids can also take a ride on “Yippee!”, a shallow pool filled with play equipment that is safe for toddlers.
At night, head to the night safari which features the Tram Safari Experience, which takes visitors on a guided tour across the wildlife park. The tour covers seven zones representing various geographical points in the world such as the Himalayan Foothills and the Asian Riverine Forest.
